After a live show at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood we were approached by a movie producer looking for songs for the soundtrack of an upcoming thriller film. We developed a friendship with the director and he asked us to write a song for his upcoming horror film, LIKE FATHER LIKE SON, which centers around a young man struggling to live in his father’s shadow. His father was a serial killer and not only does this haunt him but he grapples with living a double life. One where he feels normal and one where the urges in his DNA start to surface. We love movies and so to be a part of a film soundtrack is a dream come true. With the success of our viral tiktok song HOLOGRAM that centered around AI we developed a loyal fan base that wanted to hear a song that focused on our nostalgic emo roots from our youth and blended modern styles of bands like Thirty Seconds to Mars and Bring Me the Horizon.
