Believe it or not, we wrote BE SOMEBODY in our buddies' attic. After his grandma passed he inherited the house and turned it into a recording studio. We sat around the acoustic guitar exchanging lyrics and melodies. Honestly, the first thing that stuck was “yeah yeah yeah dreamin”. Somehow it summed up what we wanted to convey in as little words as possible. We all dream big, we all want to be “somebody”, but somehow we’re afraid to be vulnerable, unseen and especially unheard.
